Construction Mythbuster Activity

An interactive activity encouraging participants to generate discussion and challenge the stereotypes and perceptions associated with the construction industry.

  • Approx. 40 minutes
  • Appropriate for all ages
  • Printing of all documents required

Construction Sense Activity

Participants will be encouraged to consider each of their 5 senses when completing a site visit and use their experiences to formulate a piece of creative writing.

  • Approx. 1.5-2 hours
  • Suitable for ages 7-11 years
  • A site visit will need to be arranged

Building materials & their properties

An interactive activity asking participants to compare a range of materials used in the construction industry and record and discuss their results.

  • Approx. 2 hours
  • Suitable for ages 7-11 years
  • A range of construction materials are required
